Studio Lighting - Reflective Objects

Andrew Farrington's lecture on lighting Reflective Objects in a Studio (& non-studio) setting.

The object (a perfume / aftershave bottle) was placed on a product table and lit from above (toplit) with a softbox.

Secondly, the perfume bottle was backlit and also lit from underneath.

Thirdly, the bottle was lit from above, suspended from a boom.

Ambient light from a window sill was used to light the perfume bottle.

I also used the red light of the dark room to light the perfume bottle to give it a dramatic effect.
